At the beginning of each year, it’s important to take a moment to reflect on the year before – the great, the bad and the what could have been better. The end and start of a new year mark the perfect time to reflect not only on overall company performance but also on individual teams, company culture, clients and projects and ask questions like what changed, what stayed the same and what needs to change?

During this reflection, the GRIT team uncovered their favorite projects of the year and thought we’d share a few. From new brands, to websites, to marketing campaigns and even communication strategies, the team did it all. Check it out!

Digital

GRIT Marketing Group

We may be a little biased, but one of our favorite and most memorable projects in 2019 was the launch of our new website. Our team had undergone a rebrand and needed a website that aligned with our new values and personality. The new, mobile-friendly site that is optimized for best SEO practices has a sleek, modern look, which includes GRIT’s brand colors and our brand voice. Check it for yourself here!

Ministry Brands

Throughout 2019, our team worked closely with Ministry Brands to create digital campaigns for approximately 12 of their software companies. Ministry Brands offers the latest digital software to churches, ministries and faith-based organizations. Our team worked with the Ministry Brand’s team to craft strategies, write digital ad copy for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, design graphics and setup the campaigns. Following launch, weekly monitoring and reporting was conducted to gauge (and adjust if needed) ad performance resulting in increases in quality traffic and leads for the products being promoted.

St. Onge Website Redesign

St. Onge is a global leader in supply chain automation and strategic planning with offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. GRIT created a streamlined site that delivered a clearer picture of the organization’s vast capabilities and presented information in a way that aligned with the company’s market position as a technology leader serving a diverse industry set. The finished site features an optimized user experience and includes integrated calls to action throughout. Since launch, St. Onge has seen an 11.5% increase in new users, with a 22.2% increase in sessions. Check out the site here!

Communications

Central Penn Food Bank

Central Penn Food Bank (CPFB) along with other local organizations, was releasing an environmental report on York County’s hunger needs. They needed a communications plan that could be used to raise awareness and build understanding of the report’s analysis and recommendations as well as provide education on the changing process for evaluating and meeting the needs of the hungry in York County. The final plan helped guide the CPFB as they communicated with key stakeholders and community members to achieve their stated objectives.

CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health

Throughout 2019, GRIT worked with CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health to provide public relations support. One of our most notable projects for this client was the groundbreaking event at the St. John Neumann School for Children and Families. In addition to crafting the media alert, handling media relations, press release and helping to coordinate the day of on-site details, the GRIT team developed talking points for leadership who would be speaking at the event. In total, three local news stations attended the event and interviewed CHI’s president.

Branding

York County Planning Commission

York County Planning Commission (YCPC) acquired a grant to develop two organizational brands and help better tell their stories to increase brand awareness and engagement as well as differentiate from its government roots (one for York County Coalition on Homelessness and the other for York County Pathways to Home). With an aggressive timeline to meet the grant parameters, GRIT conducted interviews and surveys with key stakeholders and provided strategic brand recommendations for each organization. From there, the team designed and presented new brand identities (logos, business cards, letterhead, PowerPoint and video to name a few pieces) along with a comprehensive brand launch plan.

York County Food Bank

As a recipient of GRIT’s grant, the York County Food Bank (YCFB) sought help with their rebrand, which included recommendations for a potential new name, tagline, logo and tactics for how to implement the new brand internally and externally. The goal of new brand was to increase brand awareness and help the organization better communicate their services with their key audience members.

Marketing

Creative York

In 2019, Creative York and GRIT partnered up to craft a strategic marketing plan for the organization. The client, who is celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2020, wanted to increase brand awareness within the community. GRIT developed a comprehensive strategic marketing plan, which included specific audiences, messaging and tactics the organization could put in place to increase brand awareness and engagement.

Mowery Construction

This past year, our team helped Mowery with a pitch presentation for new business that included the presentation and the leave behinds. In the end, Mowery was not only successful in securing the client, but also has a template for future presentations.

Law Offices of Dale E. Anstine

GRIT has been fortunate to be the firm’s agency of record for the last 10 years. Last year, it was time to freshen up and launch creative for the firm that has billboards and transit shelters throughout the region. The campaign, “Your Injury. Our Fight” was integrated into all marketing efforts and featured each attorney up close to make the campaign more personal.

We know 2020 will just be as eventful as 2019. We are excited to meet new clients, begin new projects and see how we grow as a team. If you are interested in learning more about GRIT, our services or team, reach out to us today to start a conversation!
