Creative York – Website Design & Development

Recently, Creative York partnered with GRIT to design and develop a new, user-friendly website that would support the non-profit’s mission of inspiring creativity through accessible arts education, gallery experiences, and community outreach programs. It was important to Creative York that their new website told their brand story, provided an integrated registration process for classes and camps, and served as a resource hub for artists and art enthusiasts.

GRIT worked closely with Creative York to assess and strategize the best approach to deliver seamless experiences for students, artists, donors, and other important audiences, while ensuring the site’s key goals were at the forefront. As part of the project, GRIT delivered extensive copywriting support informed by maximizing foundational search engine optimization. The content strategy included helping Creative York position their brand to showcase their positive impact on the community.

The new website features bright colors that align with Creative York’s brand, an all-inclusive events calendar, on-site class and camp registration, a shop, calls to action that guide visitors through the site, and many other tools to create a comprehensive experience that serves the needs of both the organization and users.
