Public Relations Services Provided to Increase Earned Media Opportunities
GRIT worked closely with McDonald’s operators to establish goals for public relations and social media efforts, educating operators and their team on identifying powerful stories and creating a foundational strategy to advance the brand in Central PA.
Initially, GRIT worked with the local operators and regional McDonald’s brand contacts to create and rollout a customized crisis communications plan. Efforts focused around protection of the brand, clear lines of communication and related training and preparation.
GRIT worked with local McDonald’s owners and crew members, and in concert with the national brand team, to identify, create, elevate and champion local stories. GRIT delivered comprehensive support from strategy development through execution, evaluating and sharing ongoing metrics related to visibility and equivalent earned media value to monitor impact and demonstrate return on investment.
