PCA&D – Snapchat Open House Campaign
A Unique Approach to Social Media Advertising
With a desire to increase interest in the school as well as the number of prospective students attending Open House events, Pennsylvania College of Art & Design contacted GRIT for help. Since younger audiences such as high school students don’t regularly use email or some of the older social media platforms, GRIT took an innovative approach to reach the target audience by utilizing Snapchat as one of several platforms. During the multi-channel campaign, Snapchat story ads were used to attract student interest, after which Snapchat frames and filters were used directly before and during the Open House event. Because of these efforts, PCA&D saw an increase in registration frequency and a total registration count that not only exceeded several years of historical data but set a new record.
