York County Libraries – Rebranding

The York County Libraries tasked GRIT Marketing Group with increasing public knowledge of their organization and advancing perceptions of the libraries as so much more than a dispensary of books and information.

To combat perceptions that the library’s only service was book borrowing, GRIT recommended a rebrand that would better tell the “modern day story” of what was truly happening within the libraries. GRIT recommended moving to a new look that was more modern and fresher.  Additionally, GRIT suggested an updated tagline, “Where your story begins” to help build a connection with various audiences including adults, children and seniors (as well as donors and key stakeholders).
