York County Food Bank Receives GRIT Grant

GRIT believes strongly in giving back to our community, which is why we launched our Grant Program almost 10 years ago.

We are excited to announce the York County Food Bank as the recipient of GRIT Marketing Group’s fall 2018 grant. This $5,000 grant will aid the York County Food Bank in planning and executing a complete rebranding of the organization with the goal of increasing awareness of the nonprofit throughout York County.

“We are honored to receive this grant from a marketing agency based right in our local community,” said Jennifer Brillhart, executive director of the York County Food Bank. “It is important to me and my entire staff to have the GRIT team supporting us in launching a strategic rebrand that supports our mission to end hunger in York County.”

The GRIT Grant Program was established in 2008 and offers time and expertise to nonprofit organizations that strive to make a difference to the population they serve. The program recognizes local nonprofits that display a need for quality design, strategic marketing plans, promotional materials, public relations or other marketing support to help them achieve their goals. Since the start of the program, grants have been awarded to local nonprofits such as Children’s Home of York, Leg Up Farm, YWCA of York and many others.

“We’re proud to award the York County Food Bank with this grant,” said Julie Lando-Cross, president of GRIT Marketing Group. “Our team looks forward to working with this local nonprofit to help them achieve their goals and improve the community in which we share.”
