New Hire Spotlight: Sheila Hykes

The GRIT team is proud to welcome Sheila Hykes to the team as office manager. Hykes, who is from York, will work with the GRIT team to handle account transactions; financial reporting; tax filing; federal, state and local law compliances; and administrative duties.

Prior to joining GRIT’s team, Hykes most recently held the positions of bookkeeper/staff accountant at James P. O’Mara, P.C. and project accountant at NuTec Design Associates, Inc. With 15+ years of experience in various accounting roles, in her previous positions, Hykes has been responsible for managing a six-figure budget and training new employees within accounting and project administrative departments.

“Sheila joins GRIT with a wealth of experience in the accounting field and a passion for her community,” said Julie Lando-Cross, president and owner of GRIT Marketing Group. “She is an ideal fit for both this position and our team and we look forward to her addition.”
