Moxie Design and Marketing, an award‐winning, full‐service advertising and communications firm in York, Pa., has been selected as the new marketing partner of the Library System of Lancaster County (LSLC), consisting of 14 member libraries, three branches and a bookmobile.
“The Lancaster Public Libraries have an abundance of stories to tell because they impact all aspects of the communities that surround them,” said Julie Lando, president and owner of Moxie. “We are excited to help them tell their stories and raise awareness for all of the benefits they bring to their communities.”
The account was awarded in October, after an intensive search where Moxie surpassed other marketing firms to win the approval of the search committee.
“The Library System of Lancaster County was looking for an agency to create a public awareness campaign to increase knowledge and improve perceptions of the public libraries in our community,” said Mary Ann Heltshe-Steinhauer, PR/community relations director of the Library System of Lancaster County. “Moxie understood our needs and impressed us with their vision.”
Moxie will be responsible for handling the rebranding and creating a public awareness campaign for LSLC that highlights the local impact public libraries have in Lancaster County.
