Meet Our Presenters:
As a passionate communications professional, Natonia Samchuck, public relations director of GRIT Marketing Group, has spent her career building, managing and protecting strong brand reputations for her clients through the development and execution of strategic public relations strategies and tactics.
As someone who believes that relationships matter, she has been fortunate to work with a vast array of clients including McDonald’s®, CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health, Dale E. Anstine, Warehaus, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus, Disney on Ice, PA Waste Industries Association, PA Recycling Markets Center, PA One Book, Every Young Child, Dixon University Center, and many more. She also served as the region’s sole public relations contact for the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, working directly with the Championship Director to drive earned media coverage – which resulted in historic ticket sales.
The calm in any storm, Natonia is known to have two ongoing client lists – those who can be named and those she holds confidential due to their crisis communications needs. She is her clients’ go-to contact before, during and after any public relations crisis. Her work in strategic crisis communications planning also earned her an international MarCom Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
When Natonia is not living the fast-paced world of agency life, you can find her volunteering on the Board of Directors for York College of Pennsylvania or serving as the self-designated social coordinator for her husband and two young kids.
Angela Sanders is an attorney at Brubaker Connaughton Goss & Lucarelli LLC. Angela focuses her practice in the areas of Employment and Labor, Employment Litigation and Civil Litigation. She provides day-to-day counseling to employers on a wide-range of employment topics, including wage and hour issues, FMLA compliance, harassment and discrimination, hiring, employee misconduct, discipline and termination, drug and alcohol abuse, and OSHA compliance. She also assists clients in developing employment policies and diversity plans.
Angela represents employers in both state and federal courts. She also practices before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division, and Unemployment Compensation Board of Review. Angela regularly conducts training on employment-law topics for employers, businesses and professional and industry groups.
Amanda King is the Founder and President of Operam HR and author of HR Made Simple. She provides human resources management, consulting and human resources training to businesses in growth mode. She strives to help business owners develop a solid foundation and business strategy, so they can be successful. She works to improve a company’s bottom line by solidifying organization structure, company culture and employee relations.
Amanda is a passionate people advocate. Her goal is to create solutions to issues and challenges of modern business and employee needs. Her experience with large, multi-national corporations taught her the importance of balancing the needs of management and employees through education, open lines of communication, and a willingness to evolve employee programs as the needs of the workforce change.
Amanda was educated at esteemed institutions like George Mason University in Virginia where she received her bachelor’s degree; Oxford University in the UK; and Cornell University in New York, where she received her master’s certificate in human resources management. She’s worked for global organizations like Spectris plc, Ahold USA and Harsco Corporation. She is the strategic HR Partner to The Manufacturers’ Association of South Central Pennsylvania and a Benefit Design Specialists (benefits broker).
