GRIT Wins Gold 2016 Hermes Creative Award

The GRIT team is proud to announce that we have received a Gold 2016 Hermes Creative Award in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category for a project done for our client Yazoo Mills.

“It’s rewarding in itself to develop such great results for our clients,” said Julie Lando, president at GRIT. “Being recognized by Hermes Creative Awards is like icing on the cake. It adds to our excitement about what we’ve created and really solidifies a job well done by the entire team.”

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. The competition has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in the world and receives applications from a wide range of individual communicators, media corporations and Fortune 500 companies.

GRIT’s team developed a visually impactful direct mail campaign for Yazoo Mills, one of the nation’s leading privately owned manufacturers of high quality paper tubes and cores. Many creative concepts were presented, utilizing their key products in a creative way to emphasize their differentiators. The chosen campaign was a hand-cut paper-tube diorama, which involved GRIT’s team designing each visual concept, painstakingly cutting and assembling each design and creating a back-lit effect for dramatic images to feature on direct-mail pieces.
