GRIT Wins 2015 International Davey Award!

GRIT_Davey-Post_Blog_imageWe are thrilled to announce that our team has received a coveted 2015 International Davey Award! GRIT won a Silver Award in the category of “Print and Promotional Posters” for an infographic poster for York College Center for Professional Excellence. The 2015 Davey Awards received nearly 4,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms and public relations firms.

“We are grateful to receive this outstanding recognition from the International Davey Awards,”” said Julie Lando, president and owner of GRIT. “Our team’s passion and talent has always been our key to success and it makes me proud to see it recognized on an international level.”

The winning project, created for The York College Center for Professional Excellence, was centered around our efforts to turn 5 years’ worth of data on professionalism in the workplace into a clean, concise and visually appealing infographic poster. The poster was created as a tool (to accompany the full report) in preparing their students for the workplace as well as providing data trends to educators, parents and students across the country about the importance of professionalism. York College Center for Professional Excellence has leveraged this report for national PR.

The Davey is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The AIVA is an invitation-only member-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current membership represents a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.

This honor marks our firm’s eighth Davey Award for outstanding creativity.
