GRIT is proud to announce the promotion of Lissa Scott to chief operating officer. In her new role, Lissa will spearhead the overall operation initiatives for GRIT.
Lissa has 17 years of creative and marketing experience and has spent the last eight years leading GRIT’s creative team. She has spent much of her career in agencies working with creative and account teams, consulting with clients, and building, understanding and helping organizations view their problems differently. She has designed, led creative and managed clients and projects in a wide range of industries including healthcare, consumer, B to B, construction, convenience store and financial.
GRIT is also excited to introduce Heather Border as GRIT’s new creative director. Heather will oversee and collaborate with the creative team from ideation and client pitches, to the presentation and execution of client branding and marketing campaigns.
Heather has 10 years of design experience and most recently served as associate creative director at an agency in Baltimore, Maryland where she worked with senior partners across a global network to develop and execute digital brand assets for clients. Her primary responsibility in this position was to direct day-to-day activities of art directors, designers and writers from concept to completion for major clients.
